Omega Point, a multi-channel video installation, is a visual and auditory journey inspired by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin's theory about the universe's ultimate fate. This theory, initially criticized, was later embraced by artists and writers like Salvador Dali and Arthur C. Clarke. The installation deploys simultaneous two-channel video and site-specific sound design to create an augmented visual narrative, inviting viewers to contemplate our collective trajectory amidst existential angst, environmental degradation, and rapid technological advancement. It is a meditation on greatness and demise, imminent entanglement with intelligent machines, and collective evolution in this era of digital ascendancy.
